Swami Vivekananda said, “If a poor boy cannot come to education, education must go to him”.
Vidhyodhayam is a scholarship scheme to support the education of less fortunate children, who are raised by single mothers or parents suffering from a terminal illness. Sevabharathi Palakkad has completed 10 years of this scholarship and had held the hands of many families as our children were placed in decent jobs.
A small amount of Rs. 300 per month is given as education assistance and support for their studies are provided till they are self-reliant.
